Freckles beauty marks

$200 | Freckles $85 | Beauty Marks (up to 5) $150 | Touch Up (6-8+ weeks) $200 | Touch Up/Add On (6+ months)

Freckles are another form of semi permanent makeup, so they will fade over time. Freckles are a great option to give your skin more natural definition. They blend beautifully with natural freckles and are also great for those without any. Heart shaped freckles are also available during this service.

Freckles will last 6 months to 2 years with proper aftercare. Excessive sun exposure, tanning, sweating, oily skin, and skincare with Retinol, Tretinoin, Vitamin C, or topical acids in them can cause premature fading and discoloration of the pigment.

Heart shaped beauty marks are available. If you are wanting more than 5 total, please book a freckle service.

*RAINBOW FRECKLES NOT OFFERED*

*If you have had any permanent makeup done by another artist and you want it covered up or retouched, you must book a consultation to be approved for a new service.*

  • Is permanent makeup really permanent? Cosmetic tattoos are semi permanent, meaning the pigment is implanted into the upper dermal layer of the skin and will not wash off. The pigment will begin to fade from the skin after 1-3 years depending on the client’s skin type, skincare, and lifestyle. It may never fade completely from the skin.

Why are the appointments 2-3 hours long?

    Your appointment time includes:

    An in depth consultation

    Before & after photos

    Customized mapping & placement

Tattooing with up to 3-5 passes to build pigment

    Explanation of aftercare

Is the touch-up appointment necessary? A touch up appointment is always recommended to complete your cosmetic tattoo, as it is generally a two step process. However, everyone heals differently and some clients may be happy with their results after one session. If you feel an extra touch up is needed beyond your first two sessions, please reach out by email: badwavebrows@gmail.com

Why did my freckles fade after my first appointment? Freckle services are generally a two step process: an initial and touch up session. Your freckles can fade and lighten by 30%-50% once healed. A touch-up appointment is recommended to achieve optimal results for your cosmetic tattoo.

How bad does it hurt? There will be slight discomfort during your service. Numbing products are used throughout the procedure to help alleviate any discomfort. If you are having this service performed during your menstrual cycle you may have increased discomfort. You may have some redness and irritation up to 72 hours after your procedure.

Can I wear makeup after getting permanent makeup? Avoid wearing makeup on the tattooed area for 7-10 days after your procedure; or until fully healed.

What if I don’t like how my permanent makeup looks? I will consult with you first before beginning your procedure. We will pick out your freckle placement and colors that suit you the best. You will be a big part of the process! Keep in mind that freckle services will be much bolder when you first have them done, and then fade up to 30%-50% as you heal. You will not be tattooed until you agree on the procedure.

What if I have an allergic reaction? If an allergic reaction occurs after the procedure you will be referred to your primary care physician for treatment. Patch tests are available to clients if they feel they may have an allergic reaction. Patch tests are required before a service if there is any type of skin condition near or around the area being tattooed such as psoriasis, eczema, etc. If these skin conditions are directly on the area then you are not a candidate for cosmetic tattooing.
